CVPilot AI is a PHP and MySQL web application designed for launching a professional resume builder, CV creation platform, and online career workspace. It combines resume templates, optional AI writing assistance, career management features, PDF utilities, user accounts, subscription-ready plans, and a configurable administration dashboard in one project.

• Optional AI Writing Tools: Generate resume drafts, improve professional summaries, rewrite experience bullet points, suggest relevant skills, and draft cover letters using a configured OpenAI API connection.

Hostinger and cPanel Installation

This release includes a browser-based installer designed for Hostinger, cPanel, and similar Apache/PHP shared-hosting environments. A fresh installation can be completed without SSH, Composer, or phpMyAdmin, provided the hosting account supports the required PHP features and file permissions.

The installer helps configure the database connection, import the database schema, create the first administrator, generate a private encryption key, and publish the public application files.

Installation must use a new, empty MySQL database. The installer is intended for first-time installation and does not overwrite an existing application configuration or a populated database.

Technical Requirements

• PHP 8.2 or newer.
• MySQL or MariaDB with the PDO MySQL extension.
• PHP OpenSSL, Fileinfo, JSON, Iconv, and Zlib extensions.
• Apache mod_rewrite and .htaccess support, or equivalent server configuration.
• HTTPS and writable private storage directories for production deployment.
• PHP ZIP extension recommended for DOCX import.
• Ghostscript required for PDF compression; availability depends on the hosting environment.

AI, Email and Payment Configuration

AI writing features require your own OpenAI API key and a supported server connection. Email delivery requires your own SMTP configuration. Razorpay, PayPal, and Stripe require eligible merchant accounts, the appropriate API credentials, webhook setup, and successful testing before live payments are enabled.

API credits, hosting, domain registration, payment-provider approval, and third-party service fees are not included with the source code.

Security and Production Notes

The application includes password hashing, CSRF protections, role-based admin access, login rate limiting, password-reset token handling, and private storage conventions. Production readiness still depends on correct hosting configuration, HTTPS, secure secret management, payment testing, backups, and environment-specific verification.

Important Information

This is a downloadable software source-code product, not a hosted subscription service. You will need to install it on your own compatible hosting environment and configure the integrations you intend to use. Scanned image-only PDFs are not supported by the normal text-extraction import flow. PDF compression and some optional document features depend on server capabilities.
